Chiang Mai and Lamphun golf course guide
Gassan Legacy Golf Club
A water-led 18-hole course near Chiang Mai, where lakes, strategic lines and Northern Thailand countryside create a focused round for golfers who value accuracy.
Why play Gassan Legacy Golf Club?
Gassan Legacy Golf Club is one of three Gassan courses in Northern Thailand. The existing course guide describes an 18-hole, par-72 layout near Chiang Mai, while the official Gassan group source confirms the club’s accommodation and wider facilities context.
A strategic water-led round
The course is best understood as a course-management challenge. Water and shaped landing areas make club selection important, while different tee positions allow groups with mixed handicaps to approach the round at an appropriate level.
Planning the round
Gassan Legacy is located in Ban Thi, Lamphun, and can be included in a Northern Thailand golf route from a Chiang Mai base or alongside an overnight Gassan stay. The wider group promotes accommodation and facilities across its courses, so live room and tee-time arrangements should be checked for each trip.
Who should play Gassan Legacy?
This is a strong option for golfers who enjoy visual drama, risk-and-reward decisions and a course where accuracy matters. It also gives a Chiang Mai itinerary a different identity from mountain, parkland or resort courses elsewhere in the region.
