Mae Jo Golf Club & Resort

Mae Jo Golf Club & Resort is situated just a 20-minute drive from Chiang Mai city center. Renowned for its natural charm, the course was ingeniously converted from a former fruit orchard, leaving behind thousands of mature longan, lychee, and pomelo trees that line the fairways today.

The layout is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Doi Suthep mountain range. Its serene environment and clever use of the natural landscape make it one of the most visually pleasing and relaxing rounds of golf in Northern Thailand.

Designed by Seni Thirawat, the par-72 layout offers a fair but engaging challenge. The course features wide fairways that encourage confident driving, but accuracy becomes paramount on the approach shots due to strategically placed water hazards and bunkers.

The signature of Mae Jo is its clever use of elevation changes. Many holes offer elevated tees with panoramic views of the countryside, while the undulating greens require careful reading and a soft touch. The abundance of tropical flora and water features creates a "parkland" feel that is rare to find so close to a major city.

The on-site resort offers a complete "Stay & Play" experience. The Lanna-style clubhouse features excellent locker rooms, a well-stocked pro shop, and a restaurant specializing in both authentic Northern Thai and international cuisine. After your round, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or a massage to soothe tired muscles.
