Course Overview

Pattaya Country Club is one of the closest and most accessible golf courses to Pattaya, offering an 18-hole, par-72 layout over gently rolling countryside just 25–40 minutes from the city. Originally opened in 1993 and later renovated, the course stretches to around 6,700–7,000 yards from the back tees and is designed to be enjoyable and forgiving for holiday golfers while still providing strategic interest.

The routing features wide fairways, subtle elevation changes, and large greens that are often guarded by bunkers rather than water, making it less penal than many other Pattaya layouts. Several holes incorporate dual fairways, giving players the option of a safer route or a more aggressive line, which adds variety and decision-making throughout the round.

Water is relatively limited and only becomes a major factor on the closing stretch, particularly the 17th hole, which is widely regarded as one of the most challenging and picturesque on the course. Overall, Pattaya Country Club is ideal for mixed-ability groups and those seeking a more relaxed, resort-style round without excessive difficulty.

What to Expect

The renovated layout includes a back nine with more character, where undulating greens, strategically placed bunkers, and the signature par-5 11th provide a fun yet testing challenge. The final three holes, sometimes referred to as an “Amen Corner”, demand focus: a short par-3 over water, a par-4 with lakes guarding the fairway, and a par-5 finishing hole protected by large bunkers around the green.

A modern clubhouse now anchors the resort, offering state-of-the-art facilities, upgraded locker rooms, and a restaurant serving local and international dishes with views over the course.
