Why Golf in Shenzhen & Dongguan
Shenzhen and Dongguan form the beating heart of Mission Hills China — the Guinness World Record holder for the world’s largest golf resort. Spread across two campuses, Mission Hills offers 22 championship courses, each bearing the signature of a different golfing legend: Nick Faldo, Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, David Leadbetter, and more.
Shenzhen’s Mission Hills campus sits just 40 minutes from Hong Kong by high-speed rail, making it one of the most accessible world-class golf destinations in Asia. The Dongguan campus adds a further 10 championship courses, a vast hot-spring spa complex and a resort village that rivals anything in the region.
Beyond the courses themselves, the Pearl River Delta location means easy access to Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau, making Shenzhen and Dongguan an ideal anchor for a broader China golf tour combining multiple cities and courses.
