Located just 20 minutes from downtown Bangkok and close to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Muang Kaew Golf Course is one of the city's most accessible and well-maintained championship layouts. Following a major redesign by the world-renowned Schmidt-Curley, the course has established itself as a favorite for both locals and international visitors.

The layout features elevated greens, deep bunkers, and mature trees that line almost every fairway. Its strategic design ensures that while the course is manageable for higher handicappers, it offers a stern test for better players who must navigate the tricky green complexes.

Muang Kaew is famous for its large, undulating Tifeagle greens that require precise approach shots. Schmidt-Curley's redesign introduced a "waste bunker" aesthetic and strategically placed water hazards that come into play on several holes. The signature par-3s are particularly challenging, often requiring carries over water to well-guarded putting surfaces.

The back nine offers a dramatic finish, with several holes playing alongside a large central lake. The conditioning is consistently excellent, with fast-rolling greens and lush fairways that make it one of the premier "city" golf experiences in Asia.
